Good morning blog readers!

Today’s post is literally just a brain dump. Yes, I have topics and stories that I need want to write about, but honestly, today I really just feel like… writing. Does that make sense? Apologies if I am already confusing you. Have you had your coffee yet? *wink*

Coffee, yes, I’ve had 7/8 of my morning coffee. I say 7/8 because I tossed out the last sip because it was cold after sitting there for a while, while I was helping the boys get ready for school. I could have re-heated it, but I’ll just make myself a fresh, hot cup again later (which hopefully I can enjoy in it’s entirety without interruptions – wishful thinking, I know).

Anyway, today is somewhat of an odd school day for Zack. He’s home with me this morning because of a 72-hour health protocol rule. He is not sick, and it’s a long story – one that I’m not too happy about, but it is what it is. I went to his school this morning to pick up his school work (yes, I’m one of those Moms), and he will be back in class promptly at 1:00pm. However, until then, he’s sitting at the table doing the best he can while I tap away on my keyboard. He’s not totally self-sufficient, but I’m counting on him doing the next three worksheets on his own since I already explained them… Um, yeah – be right back…

Okay, well I’ll keep this post short today, since I’m really only half-focused on my writing (at least until 1:00pm today…). My goal was to do a blog post today, which I guess technically now I have. It might not be a fancy, inspiring, value-added post, but it IS one and that counts for something. Sometimes we all just have to adapt and be flexible (ah-ha! there is a message in my post after all!).

That should be the motto of all parents: Adapt and Be Flexible! Would you agree?

Cheers to a great week!
