The other night was a night to write in the books. We had a babysitter put BOTH boys to bed while we went out on a fabulous (much needed, much deserved) date!
Of course I was nervous, but I was also happy that we had such a wonderful babysitter. She watches Brayden every Wednesday morning, putting him down for a nap, and she has watched both him and Zackery together before also. Zack has had a few different babysitters put him to bed, so I wasn’t too worried about him. I know that Brayden, however, can take up to an hour to get to sleep, and that’s what I was concerned about.
I don’t really know exactly how long it took her to get Brayden to sleep, but she said he was asleep by 8pm and Zackery was asleep by 8:30pm. The house was quiet, clean and peaceful when we got home and I was so happy! We now can open up ourselves to more opportunities of actual date “night” instead of date “day.”
