Hello out there, can you believe it’s nearly 2016? I know the time has been streaming by so fast, between watching my sons grow, running my business, planning for the holidays, and keeping up with my “me” time … it’s overwhelming to think how quickly the days just slip away.

And yet, despite being busy and (admittedly) sometimes a little frazzled, I am feeling very blessed lately. I know things aren’t perfect, and you know what? They really are good enough! I am even finding joy in the crazy pace of our days lately, and I know that so much of the joy I’m feeling is the joy that I really worked to bring into my life. Amazing how all these techniques pay off, in little moments of peace and serenity.

This feeling – the awareness that, even when I’m occupied with my business, I can still be a great mom to my sons – is not easy to come by. Every day I hear from moms who are struggling with finding the balance between work and home.

Is this you? Are you finding that you’re always last on your list, and it’s starting to take its toll – physically, emotionally, mentally or spiritually? Have you lost your identity since you became “Mom”?

I know how you feel, and I know there is a solution. This is why I am happy to tell you that my HAPPY Mommy Method™ is now available for all moms – whatever you’re going through, wherever you are, whether you work because you want to, or because you need to.

My journey to overcome Postpartum Depression is a big piece of what I do, and I will always offer support and mentorship to moms on their own PPD journeys. And yet, the self-care I learned as I recovered, I believe is important for all moms. We all deserve to give ourselves permission for self-care! I am opening my arms to each and every one of you, and I want to share with you a five-step process for working moms seeking more balance and happiness.

The HAPPY Mommy Method™

Hope: Finding your hope for balance and happiness.

This is the very first step and by far the most important. Without hope, you cannot move forward. In this step, you will create a vision in four distinct categories – what do you want your life to look like? Believing that you can attain this gives you hope, and one step closer to a life of balance and happiness.

Action: Making changes and taking steps toward your vision.

A big piece of this stage is awareness, and it’s all about taking action. Now that you have a clear vision of what life as a happy mom can be like, you can begin to take steps towards identifying and making any necessary changes to support you getting there. You’ll also learn some great tools to help move you forward.

Planning: Choosing your priorities and creating a schedule with both boundaries and flexibility.

Knowing what’s important to you is just as important as scheduling what’s important. By prioritizing within the four vision categories, you can start to block out your time according to what’s most important to you. Then, when (because something always will) something unexpected comes up, you will know where you can adjust your time to accommodate and redistribute. You’ll understand why balance doesn’t always mean equal.

Physical: Focusing on physical wellbeing so your body can support your happiness.

Taking care of your body is taking care of yourself, in so many ways. We will talk about common struggles that every woman faces, plus the extra challenges and secrets to managing good health as a working mom. In addition, we will talk about what you personally need on the outside in order to feel good on the inside.

You: Learning to put yourself first, so you can be at your best for others.

Finally, you’ll commit to taking care of yourself first, without feeling guilty, so you can better serve those around you. Self-care is not selfish, it’s necessary! It’s giving to yourself so that others can benefit from your overflow. In this final step, you will have the opportunity to become the YOU you haven’t even met yet!

Remember, self-care isn’t selfish, it’s necessary! Through my real life experience, I discovered a system that has helped countless women reclaim their joy of motherhood. This is the missing factor for so many moms!

I hope to hear from you, my fellow working moms – remember, nothing is more important than your happiness. So take a moment, download your free guide, or even get in touch to find out how you can use the HAPPY Mommy Method™ to reclaim your joy and yes – even find those moments of peace in the midst of a crazy life.
